that "standard reply" is BS. this may be closer to the truth: (scroll past the GM piece to the second article) forbes.com Doubleclick is about to authorize additional shares. they just split recently, so the talk is acquisition with the new allotment. the author of this piece suggests flat out, shorting the stock. but i'm wondering if a truckload of cheap calls might not be the play. (500 contracts of the July 70s at 7/16 returns 50k on a 1 point move in the option...for example)
