Scott,
Hi!!!

RE: Kemble: I agree with the virtual integration philosophy 100%. Could you enlighten me on the "instant internet" vision you have?

Well, was talking with Patrick the other night....some strange ideas arise when two obnoxious DELLheads actually stop and think of some things DELL has been possibly telling us...
First, we like to envision what Michael could be doing to put the world on it's ear....You know...not everyone knows how smart he reallllly is...so, I threw out some ideas and Patrick came up with a notebook that had everything without wires...Instant Internet...

Just dreaming here...but, what if DELL partnered with a telecommunications company and networking firm...Let's say Nortel...Using FAST and LYCOS...Hooking up all the phone companies in the USA....Bell South...Bell West, etc...they could offer virtually everything to anyone for a minimal amount...You might have an antennae or a built in one with all the video and info shared...the access of a cell phone...Heck, we're just dreaming...

But, then let's not forget...Michael made this statement awhile back which has been prompting all this dreaming:
"SOON THERE WILL BE NO SUCH THING AS A BUSINESS AWAY FROM A BUSINESS"

Just a concept...trying to figure out what they are doing makes owning this company a great deal of fun...and of course the money adds some smiles too...

Best, kemble
