John,

<When's the tracking stock split gonna happen?>

June or July. I'd expect an update announcement when the SEC signs off.

By the way, I heard on CNN yesterday that Microsoft was considering a tracking stock for some parts of their business. It makes sense. They have even more divergent divisions than Quantum. Even though companies like Cisco and Microsoft still have good growth left in them, I don't expect them to have the super high percentage growth rates that some start-ups can have. So, how does an established company attract top talent in a new niche? Give them tracking stock options. I expect to see a lot more of this. And I do think it will work.
