AOL to convene investor powwow The stock has been on a rocky road to nowhere since hitting a high of 175 just a month ago... ... AOL is historically an "event-driven stock" and investors may need some big news to drive it higher... ...The Dulles, Va., online services giant convenes its investor and analyst conference in Washington, D.C., on May 19. AOL Chief Executive Steve Case and Bob Pittman, AOL's president, are expected to speak at the all-day event... cbs.marketwatch.com It's probably a little bit too early to hope that they announce a deal with CKFR during that conference. OTOH, they don't have to announce. YHOO haven't. There are other ways. Anyway, May 19 is Wednesday.
