Nothing in business is so straight forward that confidence remains a constant factor. I have found that confidence is a variable attribute with a business. I really don't see the relationship between confidence and... "folks aren't doing their homework". The Street had forecast the 5.5 billion in revenue for the quarter, and got 5.2. Not much of a difference, but still a miss. The rest is now history. My question is...don't you think they would have been better off pre-announcing, rather than having the numbers leaked to Niles. (Assuming that this is true. I personally don't know if its true or just a rumor.)
