(Is anyone still making 4 platter desktop drives?) Hard to figure out why you need a Pentim III 500 other than the fact that Intel invested in the company. Problem is, who keeps their PC in the living room next to the TV. Could see this becoming popular when the software runs on a $600 PC. ($500 for a basic PC, extra hundred for max capacity DD.) Maybe having a second PC in the living room works.
