Sorry that the format was slightly untidy on that last post. I tried to clean it up in edit mode but the 15 minute time window closed. (all that work for nothing.. :0) The comments from the gentleman named Estes about how the POW's commanding general stated they had been following army doctrine when they were captured were right on. I thought the same thing when I read Major General Grange's words. The blatant cover-up of what occurred and the medals they're flinging upon these guys makes me sick. (but I'm still glad they made it home alive). I spent some time as a Cavalry troopie (scout team leader/track commander). I don't remember anywhere in the manuals where it stated it was smart or wise to go off by oneself with no supporting firepower.. Guess that's why I got out of the military... :0) Regards, Ron
