Actually, I am much more bullish on NETP. The need for the service that they offer has the potential to increase as rapidly as e-commerce on the net. Also NETP has demonstrated that its share price can move very quickly. A few institutional buying and/or analysts recommendations could a quick runup in price.

As for as VUSA is concerned, I had very similar reservations as you at one time about EBAY and YHOO. It just defied all logic and fundamental analysis. At that time, I viewed Yahoo as just another search engine in a field flooded with the likes of Excite, Infoseek, Alta Vista, Web Crawler, Lycos, etc. My fundamental analysis of the search engine Yahoo's blinded me to the awesome potential generated by it morphing into other many other services and revenue streams. The brand name recognition help contributed to Yahoo moving ahead of a crowded pack. VUSA is in a similar position to morph into a multi-dimensional leader in its field. It may not get there but it has that potential. I just think that the upside potential is greater than the downside at this point and justifies my risk to reward ratio. However this is just my take on VUSA and NETP. I have been both wrong and right on similar takes before. However note that my WRONGS = small loss or no gain on sitters. My RIGHTS = big gains.
