Agristar (AGRS) is positioned to make a PR in the upcoming days. Here are some facts per the SEC filing.

1. It outlines the acquisition by Agristar of Select-Shopper.Com

2. The filing also explains an alliance with AOL which outlines the featuring of Select-Shopper on the AOL shopping channel.

sec.gov

The most attractive element of this filing is that none of the information pertaining to the acquisition or the alliance with AOL has been mentioned in a PR.

Deciding to dig a little further the company was contacted. We spoke to an officer of the company named Sheila and she was willing to tell us the following:

1) That a press release was almost completed and that it is expected to be released mid-week. The PR would involve an explanation of the merger of Select-Shopper.Com with Agristar.

2) Secondly that the company was is the process of re-designing their web-site as well as expanding their product offering.

*** The conversation was concluded by her informing that the PR would probably not make mention of a PR with AOL. She went on to say that another officer was handling that issue. If anyone is interested in verifying this information her number is (757) 543-5880

The appealing element of playing this stock is that they have not announced to the business community that they exist, nor their alliances and plans. The share price had a nice jump due to the fact that some had made the effort to find unexposed value in the SEC filing.

As always I would urge others to conduct their own DD on this one before making an investment decision.
