According to recent reports, Dell has captured 10% of the worldwide market for PC's, up 7.8% from yr ago period.
Likewise, Dell has also seized a 21% market share of the US marketplace, while its nearest competitor's share has dropped to 18%.
Finally, Dell's share of the worldwide server market has increased to 12.9% from 9.4%, growth in shipments rose from 63% in 4th Q
of 1998 to 77% in 1st Q on a worldwide basis.
So what is my point ?
