Thanks Bruce, good comment. I find that my main obsession in life is trying to find out the information which I don't know which will do me in or change everything. Staying ahead of the game! I'm not bad at it, compared with most people anyway though pathetic, like all of us, on a scale of 0 to O {mniscient}.

Those who are successful at it, which has a large luck component, get to carry on in the gene pool, those who are not, get punctuated.

No wonder people are nervous. But then, the battle is not really anything new. The battleground used to be on the actual battlefield - victory to the smart there too. It's just so fast and complex now.

No wonder our skulls are so big. A never-ending punctuation process.

Meanwhile, Mardy has called GG [not George Gotch] on DDT. Quoting a reputable sounding epidemiological publication. Toxicology is a well-established science, so how about it George, is DDT toxic or not? Are the WHO levels too high? I know the acceptable blood lead levels should have been lower.

Maybe acolyte Daisy.com could defend the 'DDT is good for you' concept.

Lead in gasoline was a really bad thing to have done.

Maurice

[Thanks for the good url Mardy]
