I have a feeling that it will take years before you see Croats willing to accomodate Serbs back into Krajina.

Again, you forget what drove so much of the Balkan bloodshed, that being Serb nationalism pursued at the expense of other ethnicities.
It was the fear of sharing power at the national level with non-Serbs (and maybe resentment against Tito's heavy-handed means of quelling everyone's nationist aspirations in order to maintain the federation.

Milosevic and his cronies bear the responsibility for stirring up this nationalism and bringing it to a head, Gord. They armed the Serb populations outside Serbia and stirred them up with fear and manipulation in order to justify Belgrade's attempt to maintain Serbian political dominance over the Federation.

No matter how hard you try, there is no way that you are going to find a side that is without blame. But you can seek the origin of the sparks that set Yugoslavia on this path. That is Milosevic and his loyalists.

Ron
