What I do like about the arrangement is that Spescom must meet a minimum/certain unspecified sales number (seats) for them to complete the deal. This will force/raise the level of ALTS exposure that Jack P. says (or passed on) is so lacking on the UK radar screen.

Otherwise the few deals that ALTS has already landed (which, I guess, are not yet officially inked) including: Bombardier, GE Nuclear, BP Chemical, & London Underground should help them quickly close/reduce the credibility gap that had been created between them and some of their competitors.

They are supposedly working on a near dozen deals of which two are potentially enormous. I suspect that one of these two "biggie" deals is UK-based and the other USA. The UK deal may have been initiated by Spescom -- although that, again, is pure speculation on my part.

Finally, we got Data General here in Boston. They made strong assurances to me that they would start offering EB as early as July -- assuming the product was to live up to its billing. Staffware, again here in Boston, is already signed on for US & International sales.

I fully expect that ALTS will be giving us a steady stream of deal wins over the next few months -- the first maybe starting this week.
