IDTI is not going to be the next Intel - who said they would? They've suffered like many other semi companies in a F___ing semiconductor recession. Their plays, like Win-Chip, haven't all panned out. They've got other great products. Yet, they did try something, rather than just sit there like (Cypress).

So what?

IDT did move into a more profitable niche (specialty communications chips) over the past three years. Bad management? I don't think so. They've decreased operating costs (downsized, some companies are rewarded for that), their products are selling at better margins, and they continue to put out competitive products in both price and features. They aren't going to reinvent the wheel.

All IDTI supporters and stakeholders know that the past few years have been tough on the company and shareholders. I'm betting that you're seeing the bottom of what they can and will do in the future - be it sell out, spin-off, or continue to compete.

It ain't Microsoft, but your risks are limited at these prices!

Hi JB, Still here, but haven't had much activity recently. (At least not with IDTI) Don't know how long I'll stick with this, but the price recently makes the portfolio profitable.

Best regards, Tom
