Has any one on this board followed-up on an article in the
Spokane-Review about the installation of a 200 kw fuel cell plant, believed to be the first fuel cell installation in the North West. It was to operate hydrogen produced from natural gas. Washington Water Supply installed the unit manufactured by ONSI Corp. The fuel cell was purchased with the help of the US Department of Energy. The news article appeared in the Spokane review on June 25, 1997. I have been looking for some more information, but must have missed it. I am curious if the cell is still operating. It would be interesting to know the outcome of this operation after two years,if successful it should be good for Ballard.
