I disagree, There has been a lot of talk this weekend on television and in the newspapers about how some of the recent internet IPO's have had lackluster performances. They've been saying that these are just as good of companies as some of the ones in the past who have had huge runups. There are just so many IPO's in the pipeline that investors may not have known about some of these IPO's - Intelligent Life and Comps.com. In my opinion, ILIF will correct itself and rise up this week like many of the IPO's in the past. This is a strong company with a niche internet product, and a currently low market cap. Actually, I'm surprised there have been no takeover rumors yet.

I have had somewhat positive success with IPO's that aren't found immediately. Intraware for example priced at 16 and opened up first day then settled back to 16 level. Thats when you add to the meager ipo allocation one typically gets. Anyway when quiet period ended stock went quickly to 50. Key is underwriters names and actual business value. In this case I think you'll see a double by mid June at the latest. I am intoday.....

10 3/4 x 10 13/16 right now (down about 1 1/2) and SELZ is nowhere to be seen (their bid is currently at 10 1/8). I guess they have no interest in supporting their IPO's. I really find it hard to believe that the company that brings this public gives up after 2-3 days.

Has anybody heard anything about when they expect to be profitable?
