For the record, I have no qualms whatsoever about shorting a stock. As for peer pressure, I'll pay a lot more attention to it when you folks (who are more accurately my mentors than my peers) rally up to the bar and reimburse me for my past and future mistakes. :)

There is a reason some people who have followed my posts about the front office space might be surprised that I'm shorting a front office stock. Some people erroneously think enthusiasm for the strong players in a rapidly growing industry clouds an investor's judgement in a way that prevents s/he from capitalizing on the opportunities presented by the weakest players in the industry.
