Didn't I meet you on the Mr. Pink thread. Believe you were talking about shorting something to Mr. P.

Ahhh, Steve... maybe the one person best qualified to explain what the hell BWT is doing up at these levels. Is it all retail investors buying, or is something else going on, do you think?

For those who don't know, in addition to being an investor who favors the short side, Steve owned several of the first ILT tooth whitening centers in those heady days of 1996 when many of us rode the stock from under $1 to over 30. I sold pieces all along as it dropped and was completely out by 10. I once thought that ILT would be one of the stocks of the decade, and a household name, but what a mistake that turned out to be. Sure wish I'd bought back at 1 or so, but with 4 times as many shares as it had when I owned it, how can anyone possibly justify this market cap?!

Go ahead and short it now. Your short coverings will help drive the price up for the rest of us. The stock is definitely overpriced at the current valuation, but during the phase of openings and revenue growth from actually having stores open, this stock is definitely going to go higher in the future. I can't say for sure how I feel about whether or not they are charging enough to cover costs, but I think it would take an awfully foolish company to not charge enough to cover there costs.
As long as people can speculate this company could have tremendous earnings and revenue growth, the stock will continue to climb to idiotic levels. Once the actual revenue streams and profit margins are determined to some extent, then the stock could be ripe for shorting.

Darth Pluvia,

Thanks for the tip on BWT. The Dark Force has arrived. Please pass me the antelope's rump roast.
