Well David,

That's good to hear. One of the aims I had was to discover something that EVERYBODY could do and make money in the stock market no matter how much money they had to start with. To take green novices and steer them in the right direction. Those novices eventually succeed and they turn around and contribute some new piece of knowledge. No matter how many books I read, there is ALWAYS some lurker on this forum that presents a new twist to an old concept or idea that changes the outcome for the better. There is always some lurker that takes our Excel template and adds a new feature for the better.

We were able to deliver thanks to the ongoing tweaking of the lurkers out there. Think tanks and collective input from actual experience for the common good. That is a very powerful application of this type of instructional technology. The news media dwells too much on the negative uses of the internet.

I get email from lurkers that express their surprise on the scope and quality of the dialog on this forum. The fact that 99% of the conversations is without fighting egos and without the usual flaming. There is respect and an attempt to better understand the investment motives of others and what influences them to think that way.

I guess, you can learn more about yourself by learning more about others. :-)

Dave and Herm,

Waiting for the stock to hit the upper BB is good discipline as long as you have sufficient faith in the TA. I use it to time my rolls in conjunction with the relative time premium left in the calls in question. But I get nervous about owning stocks uncovered for any length of time in this frothy market, and look for positions in which I can write the call for good return as soon as I buy the stock.

For me it's sleep! Sleep! And I am happy to say that I am sleeping pretty well, despite owning a viper like Edify.

Indeed, we owe Herm our thanks, at least, for developing this, and ourselves a pat on the back for being respectful to everyone.

Herm, I may be in the mood to make a donation in your name to your favorite charity by year's end.

Cheers, Tuck

P.S. David (I think it was you, maybe Dan): you were right about margin requirements for naked put writing. They are lower than either of us would allow for ourselves.
