Jenne...a few items that are missing from the analysis of @Home.

Possible growth outside of cable structure..IE Microsoft target small business use of NT servers interfacing to @Home over ADSL in addition to locations that can connect to @Home using cable coax.

What is the value of new online high speed services that are not workable over low speed dialup connections.

Advertising using high speed for simulated demos, video on demand, download CD music , gaming over the internet, etc,etc..
Much more than just another AOL.

I don't know if @Home is worth 19B but I do not think comparing them to AOL in 1995 is an intelligent comparison. Back then:

1. We didn't really understand the extent that the Internet would affect us - how valuable being a top tier provider was.
2. Many people thought MSFT was going to eat AOL's lunch.
3. Broadband IS different and nobody is in a better position than @Home.
