George, Thanks for reminding everyone of the unreliable nature of both the trade rags AND the internet touts. Unfortunately, some of the trade rags have also been correct in their speculation re CPQ/Brocade and Dell/Brocade. However, IF the IBM buzz was as rumored at N+I then someone else will have picked it up as well. I think we have seen and read every conceivable combination of possibilities re IBM, including: > IBM has developed their OWN switch > IBM will OEM company A, B, G, V, or McD. > IBM will BUY company A, B, G, V or McD. > IBM will not enter the market because there IS no market. > Brocade will SOON announce an OEM with IBM [this from last summer on this thread from an industry insider if i recall correctly]. I'll believe it when i see it with an IBM attribution. Neil
