Another opinion.

At first glance of the FRO deal, I was skeptical, as was the market (based on the quick drop). But as the news sunk in and the market reacted positively, it appears that the consensus was (is) that FRO was an excellent move.

I believe the same will happen for the US West deal. If the stock price at the end of the day on Friday was any indication, the market may like the US West deal even better than the Frontier deal.

I'll base my interpretation on 'good vs. bad' through the movement of stock price. Yup, the market is smarter than I am. Yup, I'm long.

So far, so 'good'.

PS. What does LOL mean? Sorry, I'm a dope.

Lazarre,

<< Does that mean we get USW's dividend ( haha )? >>

This points back to the culture thing. As Frank pointed out in one of his posts, USW shareholders are a different crowd from GBLX holders. I read somewhere, however, that perhaps there will be two classes of stock. One for the old USW, the other for the old GBLX. Not sure where I picked that up from, so I may be all wet.

Regards,
