Doc, how can you be happy with the email? It told us nothing new except for the "special offering". (I too am relieved at the amount mentioned. Hope it isn't a lowball figure). Tom won't post here, and I wouldn't either if I were him. I think the one thing we need to know is, is he talking to both companies developing/marketing compression/decompression technology AND companies with content to distribute over the internet. The internet allows companies to CUT OUT THE MIDDLEMAN. Record companies sell content (music). ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, HBO, and all the other cable channels sell content (television shows, sports, movies, news programs). Content NEEDS to be PROTECTED and COMPRESSED. I've got 3 words that describe where the money will be made over the internet-- CONTENT CONTENT CONTENT! Get it?
