Perhaps, you are correct about Iridium. Like a lot of companies their "hayday" is in the newspapers and other means of PR rather than actually having a viable business plan and strategy. e.g., many of the internet stocks, which one day will fizzle.

I was in the Sprint store in Plano, Texas--Dallas suburb. This particular store is interesting because it has the most phones on display of any I have seen. It was packed. MOT StarTac prominent. There was another MOT handset, too. StarTac seemed to be generating a lot of interest.
