Kha Vhu .....SPCO a Turn Around Story; read this from their SI site, as below: To: Joe Copia (0 ) From: IFLY_Trader Friday, Apr 16 1999 2:30PM ET Reply # of 16 Nice Info on SPCO: brainforest.net Due Diligence Report on SPCO researched by Hugh Hamilton on 4/14/99 Well, here's an interesting little stock. Of note because it made it to NASDAQ's Top Percentage Gainer List today. Software Publishing Holdings, Inc. has 3 separate businesses. The most familiar to the public being Harvard Graphics, purveyors of the popular Harvard line of business presentation software. (See recent press release below) The second company, Serif, Inc. is closely linked to their third venture, VisualCities.com Thats right folks, a "dot.com" company. And as of today, visualcities.com is still under wraps as it's in beta testing. Here's the poop as I see it. Serif sells digital cameras and graphics publishing software. In fact, they have a nifty little package called The Go Digital Photo Pak that sells for $149.00 which includes a digital camera, and software to download the pics onto your PC and then view/edit them and create web pages. Thats where VisualCities.com comes in. On the bottom of Serif's home page is a link to VisualCities.com, letting customers know that they can sign up for a free web page with 10MB of storage. The site also offers members FREE real time stock quotes amongst other products and services. I think there is potential here for significant price appreciation. We've seen the past performance of web communities like Xoom and Geocities. Once the site is publicly announced I suspect it will attract a lot of attention. The stock does have a tiny float of 2.10 Million shares so the potential for rapid price gains is very high. It certainly got people's attention today by making the Top Percentage Gainers list on an otherwise crappy day for techs. I would not hesitate to long this stock since it has low risk and huge profit potential. Note: VisualCities.com might be unreachable at times since it's still in beta testing.
