hahahaha- I know people silly. And what I've heard ain't good. I think the whole prequel thing was a deadly bad idea. We (or I should say III) want to know what happens next. Who the %$CK cares WHY Darth got to be a badass? The question is, what next? Unfortunately Star Wars isn't Shakespeare or Austen where the dialog is so wonderful you don't really care what the actors are doing or that there isn't any plot (of course Austen and Shakespeare threw those in too, which was very dear of them). But back to Lucas- the dialog can be stupid. I've watched the originals enough times to know there were lame parts- but it didn't matter so much because they were new, and the effects were cool, and we hadn't been to that galaxy far far away until we were sick to death of it.

I think we are set up for a mega disappointment. And the merchandising was far too aggressive. My daughter doesn't even want to see the film. She has seen to many of the toys and she doesn't like what she has seen. Now maybe Lucas doesn't care about 9 year old girls- but I don't want to see it either, and neither does my husband.

There are whole "theme" areas of target set aside for the new Star Wars toys. Yuck.
