Steve, From the Russell Website: "The Russell indexes daily update service provides the daily index updates (corporate security changes) via modem. This level of service is valuable for organizations managing an index fund for one of the Russell Indexes. " Russell does not divulge the current holdings unless the user subscribes. The cost is very high depending on the level of detail it can cost upwards of $70,000. This scenario is a perfect opportunity for Wave. You want to know if WAVX is listed in the Russell 2000, how they classify it(Industry sector)and what percent of the index it is but don't feel the need to subscribe to the full service. Using the Wave's platform the user could pay for those pieces of data.
