There's violence and sadism, but it's not the lovingly gratuitous sort of the slasher flicks. I suppose the film could have been done without it, and merely implied the menace of the old Nazi's past, but it does fit his character,

I'm noticing fewer and fewer posts at the stock threads that I frequent. Some threads that would get twenty or so posts a day often have none at all. I wonder if this means anything, besides complacency or boredom.
