I agree that initially this will be a big concern for some applications. The concepts that are being talked about are in their nascency. However, I am intrigued with seemingly immense potential that true programmability would afford the ISP community to differentiate their services. If Intel can demonstrate a robust solution, this may be a go-go at some point.
