BusinessWeek May 24: this is a special issue dedicated to Online Investing. I scan this weekly magazine every week BUT this May 24 issue deserves some serious reading. Here are a few articles: - As the web spins (page 30): - What do communications companies want - What are the media companies looking for - Microsoft seems to be all over the place - what is it up to - What AOL up to - What is broadband - What advantages do cable systems have in delivering broadband - How does cable phone service work - Where does that leave the phone companies - What about satellites - which technology is better - HO-HUM, another earnings surprise ( page 83) subscribers used to ask Jenna whether to keep the position thru earnings anouncement.
