Lorrie this TV coverage as you describe it is a good thing! Lots of people will get pissed off about this. It's one thing to read about this but the visual brings the reality of ugliness home! No glamor when killing is put under the light of day. Expose the bastards for what they are! I say

lorrie, thanks for trying, but I attempted the URL, and it took me to the same place as the other. I think I get the gist, though. I admit that I find the hunting of whales barbaric, kind of like hunting chimpanzees, they're just too close...But I am ambivalent, because I also have some sympathy with tribes that want to preserve their customs. I am not against hunting per se---- although I have never done it, and am not sure that I personally have the stomach to kill Bambi's mother:-)...Anyway, I approve of Western interference in practices like clitorectomies and the suppression of speech, but I am not sure about things like the whale hunt. We have to have some respect for their culture, too....
