OT--
We raced 6 of them, when they were done, we brought three home and the other three were adopted through the track's adoption center.
You can NEVER trust a greyhound loose.
NEVER. Did I say NEVER?
They are bred to CHASE.
The tamest dog will streak out after a cat or rabbit, or squirrel faster than you can blink.
One that we gave up for adoption...the people thought they could trust him, after all their kid RODE on him!
He got loose, saw a rabbit and ran in front of a truck.
Invisible fences do not work(no matter WHAT they tell you) because Greyhounds have the highest threshold for pain than other breeds.
Fences work, at least 6 ft high.
Greyhounds like to dig(a warning).
They are not as intelligent as people think...they make a Labrador Retreiver look like Einstein!
They are EXTREMELY FRIENDLY!!! And COUNCH POTATOES!!!!
So that means they adjust to home life quickly!!!!
