This is an interesting thread, for sure...

I'm still missing something, though. Given the existing size of the installed base of PC's it seems to me that, even if, some of the large PC makers came on board with WAVX it would be years before a signficant percentage of PC's had embedded technology. Until there is a significant base of PC's with the technology it will be hard or even impossible to sign up large numbers of content providers, no?

For providers it doesn't seem logical for them to only provide content through WAVX, it would kill their sales. If they provide it both ways there is little pressure for anyone to adopt WAVX.

I've been reading your RB posts today and have noted that you are referring to an incorrect URL for the PC Free that will include HAUP/WAVX cards.
