The painting @Ebay got 7 bids and US 127.

Not representative, but interesting that Jeff-Auctions is doing so well. Most of the bidders just signed up in May.

Glenn- I still think AMZN will turn a profit (and a healthy one). To put your
AMZN-profit-doubt into perspective, how far do your think they can take their revenues
before they go bust? That might end up as a good estimate for the revenue level to first
reach profitability (in another scenario;-).

I can't give an answer as to when they will go bust. Every time their cash is gone, Morgan Stanaley raises more money for them. Assuming, no more money can be raised, I would say a top line of $3 billion per year will be their end.
