Danny, thanks for your comments. I have only shorted two stocks in my life, and one of them also was Dell, in 9/98. I thought to myself, this seems like a bear market, I need to change my strategy to make money (a perspective I always want to be open to, by the way). At any rate, I got dinged on both shorts, and just decided that shorting was not part of my constitution. Fortunately, that lesson was not too costly for me. I also used to trade more, but Uncle Sam in April 1999 convinced me that that strategy is too costly also. So it's back to feeling at peace just searching out the fundamentals, buying stocks I believe in, holding them, and standing in awe at the incredible time we live in and how fortunate I am to benefit from it. Am also trying to 'grow into my evaluation' lol. New kitchen, new bathrooms, relandscaping, new Mercedes coming soon, nicer vacations. It's taken some adjustment, but I'm working at it lol!
