Michelle, No the last four zip code digits is only a new aggravation in that they are now returning mail to sender or holding up for a week at a time before their feeble brains can figure out that I'm still at the same place I've always been for the last 5 years. -s-

I think the theory that someone stole my mail and then hijacked my identity is falling off the target list. Still possible but there are now more likely possibilities.

Just got back from the local cops and since I can't show a crime occurred in town limits there is nothing they can or want to do. So looks like I'm going to have to rely on the bank's fraud guys to follow up on everything 'cause at this point I'm not sure it is worth it financially for me to take over the investigative work in finding the crook. That could cost some real money. But I'm afraid the bank guys will cram it down the merchants and the crooks will wander off into the sunset.
