Great Gorilla theory. Do you think that 3COM has a chimp chance in becoming a small Gorilla with partnerships with, Ercy, MS, and Siemens? I believe, it has a fighting chance in growing and becoming an oversize gorilla down the road (ie. 3 to 5 years). Unless, A Giant Godzilla has 3COM for lunch. ( ie...Godzilla is the unknown buyer). "3COM makes the things that make future communications work",my theory..... al.. . No buyers, and the sleeping (now -grown) Gorilla is awaking..... "the sleeping giant". Sincerely, EricB. has screwed up several times as we all do. I believe, he has created a monster ready for the next level. Billion of customers not 200 million customers as he says. I don't believe he can take it to that level. He is forming a company similar to MDell's model down the road where everyone can order online via the internet. In any case, there are so many things happening w/3COM that it might do great as a independent with it's new strategies. later al.
