Dan,

Stepping in front of size on a stock that you follow the trading patterns on can give you a nice play a lot of the time. Also by following the trades on the regional exchanges helps me determine any hidden buying or selling.

Good Trading

Dave

Dan:

Thanks for the reply. One question: When placing marketable orders on NYSE, how long does it typically take to get your execution confirmed? Note: I assume you are using a firm with direct access to SuperDOT, etc. versus a payment for order flow broker.

From all of the comments, I am becoming more and more interested in trying to daytrade the NYSE stocks. Perhaps they will be somewhat easier and more 'fair' to trade than going up against the evil market makers!
