Larry, I'm confused by the reference/relevance of the $399 machine. It has been my impression that DELL does not see websurfing machines as a niche of the market that they care about, I thought they were in the high end business. If so, what does DELL care what happens with emachines. It's like, does Mercedes quake when Toyota puts their strippy pickups on special? I am shopping for a POS system for my restaurant. Annually I do over $1m in sales, process 130,000 transactions, handle payroll of $250,000 and close to 1/2 million in iother accounts payable. Do you think I want a $400 boat anchor/bobber (I'm not sure of the weight of an emachine, therefore can not assess it's highest and best use) at the heart of that enterprise? D.H.
