A bright spot may be the new CFO - she brings more focus on the bottom line.

They seem to be starting to shift focus away from market share to creating profitable product lines.

Unfortunatly for the affected affected workers, this will sometimes involve layoffs and/or closing down product lines.

Hopefully, the cost cutting will allow adequate investment in the future - that is, R&D expenditures.

A quarter or two of this type of management could bring a more sustained turnup in stock price - maybe to a new high in the next few quarters??????

I wouldn't call it dead money. I am up over 20% in the position I initiated in BA about a month and a half ago. Not bad for 45 days.

Depends on when you bought BA. I bought at 32xx about 6 weeks ago and have no complaints with activity so far. I now have plenty of price action and time to be patient for a really big move up from my basis.

As it is often said, timing is everything. I may be a long down the road and in a less fortunate position.
