Zeev, make sure you use troy weight or investors won't get rich. The discussion is coming down to which polish does one use for a turd. <VBG>

Perhaps McKay has been hoodwinked by Twiford and Palmer. However, I doubt it. In my conversations with him (which are not recent) I had the definite impression that he was well aware of the limitations of both, but also, as a good manager was intent upon using those aspects of their functioning which would be useful. I also had the impression that as a no nonsense leader he had the attention of both, particularly Palmer, which Jensen, in his no hands on manager mode did not. Palmer was able to dupe Jensen because he ostensibly had hands on experience which Jensen never had.

It is verey difficult for me to conceive of McKay being fooled by these two. He was deeply disappointed in Jensen when he took over and felt betrayed by him, as we all feel, but this only served to sharpen his critical awareness.

Bear in mind also, that some of the procedures.he has briefly alluded to are quite different from those used by Twiford, aside from dropping the catalyst. We have all, including you, been fairly convinced that GPGI has the best ore of the desert sands. Why believe this and suspect that the high recovery returns are not possible?

By the way, for all the criticism of Twiford, in his lab work he has found recoveries far in excess of 10 ounces per ton. I believe his results. But converting lab results to production results is always problematic to say the least. This is where Twiford has failed.

Also, let me ask you Zeev how long did it take Stillwater to arrive at a rational and reliable production model? Was it 6 years as I have heard?

Regards, Ed
