Walter, as you pointed out, that is a misstatement. The same misstatement was made several days ago in another SI post (but figuring it an innocent mistake that most of us here on the SI thread would recognize, I didn't bother to correct it). It almost makes you wonder if people are getting their info from original sources or are just repeating what other investors posts have stated.

The correct relationship:

Walter, go back and read my post on May 14th (#4222). The article in Wired magazine mentioned that Universal in fact had teamed up with Lucent.

I have to admit, I'm not sure when that took place. You may want to contact the author of the article.
