Hi, As well as the SI home page, you can look at the number at the end of a message's URL, notice from your message: Message 9552708 That yours was the 9,554,708th message ever. Dr. Zax (I still don't know how it is that people figure out while they are typing that they have the xth post, because when you write a post the post # in the URL is that of the one you are responding to. The only thing I can think is that they post, then edit their post once they see their #.) mercata.com is a wonderful concept. Kudos to Paul Allen!!
