Bernard, well they don't have to get the whole pie, they are small, and a big order would mean a lot to them, but not CSCO.
Well, one thing was the strong insider buying 6 months ago, most all of the upper management bought stock on the open market.
The thing that intrigues me is the link to Sprint. Sprint is testing a two-way MMDS system for the parent company in Gardener,Missouri. They will not divulge whose components they are using, but it could be CAMP's. If it is,CAMP has one heckuva possibility of landing one huge contract. All the earmarks of a good company are here, management navigated through rough times extremely well, strong insider buying, a reason economically to turn around, and a superior product(hopefully),and manufacturing capacity to make it. It looks like a cookie cutter image of HLIT to me,I could be wrong.
Yes,I read about CSCO's purchase, and I am not sure how far along they are. I am also aware that NT and LUcy are funding the companies they are selling to. LUcy has a 2 billion dollar loan to WCII to purchase their equipment.
It all comes down to execution and manufacturing a superior product,HLIT accomplished this, and beat out companies like GIC,SFA,ANTC,NT,and LUcy to the dollars at TCOMA/T. HLIT only has 300 employees, but 300 wolverine eating employees.
I think the barrier to wireless is less than to optoelectronics. CSCO does not have a fiber optic division,LUcy closed down their cable infrastructure divisions years ago. This arena might have more competition. I firmly believe that wireless will be a winner in the last mile.

Bernard, one last note I forgot. BLS is using CAMP's equipment all around me in Florida. I spoke with a couple of BLS engineers, and they are very enthusiastic about wireless MMDS. I have recently heard radio commercials touting BLS's MMDS 2-way system for internet access in Orlando. I also know first hand they bought out Wireless Cable of Melbourne,Florida, and are now fully digital, and starting to roll out internet access over the system. BLS is also using HLIT for MetroDWDM installations in Florida also. That is how I found out about CAMP,and also I got a personal message from a SI poster.
