To JackSkip and some other members of this thread:

IMHO, this thread increasingly reads like the YAHOO IATV board... it makes me wonder how much cross-posting is going on and what the point of that is. My view on this is "if you're doing it there, you're doing it here," and I for one find it of little worth.

Once upon a time, IMHO this thread was given to informative posts about the stock and its industry. I appreciated those posts and the posters who made those contributions. I made my contributions as best I could as well.

I don't find much of value in your post, which this post replies to, or in others on the thread similar to it. Just my opinion reflecting my values. I know for a certainty that some lurkers feel the same. I don't pretend to speak for them, but I have heard/read their comments regarding the quality of this thread in the last month.

Robert Cohen, very much to his credit, has posted in a very civil and informative manner recently. I like, value, and appreciate that kind of change in attitude and style. Robert has my respect because of that.

Information which The Atheist has passed, such as new MMs making a market in this stock and other such market information, is incredibly useful in gaining a perspective on what's going on in the background. I'd rather see that kind of message any day.

The matters and issues of executive compensation are important and are worth civil and respectful debate. Companies have cratered due to perceptions about executive compensation and its mechanisms. It is a worthy topic of discussion and respectful debate.

I've noticed that the world is made up of all sorts of people. IMHO it's impossible and useless to control them. Also IMHO the attempt to control is a sign of impotence, frustration, and a lack of self-control.

I've stated my preferences. It's a lovely spring afternoon here in CA, so I'm going back into it.

Let the games begin...

Regards,

Ed
