Gabriel,

I think that what E-machines is doing will benefit DELL next year when the new but now experienced users upgrade to less limited machines. So I see E-machines planting the seeds for another crop of DELL customers. Meanwhile, they are hurting CPQ, and other purveyors of low end machines in the consumer sector.

The comments coming from corporations is that there will be no problem adding Y2K compliant machines in the second half of the year. These will be machines that have already been integrated into the IT networks of those corporations.

Regards,

Jim Kelley
