Icy, I believe PAIR will be taken out by this summer (JMHO; I was wrong last Fall when I thought LU would take them out around October). The industry is consolidating. Medium-size firms will not survive alone (limited funds for R/D, covert marketing, new niches, etc). PAIR falls into this category of mid-size firms. They will have to merge or acquire to maintain market position, leverage, and presence.

I truly Avidia is a superior product, something that a BIG-boy will want once it's been proven and there are significant contracts in hand.

At this point, potential suitors include: ERICY, NT, CSCO, and ALA. PAIR will fill a void for any of these larger players.

Personally, I would love a takeout in the nearterm, but I am content with PAIR as a long-term play. I truly believe we will see upper 20s to mid 30s in the next few months.

PAIR has always been very upfront regarding their performance - no sugar coating. They warned about last year. They appear giddy about 2H99 and beyond. I have high optimism based on past history on this front and will continue to add on dips.

Good luck.
