Chas, only HAL can predict what Dell will do after
earnings.

I think there is a 99.9% Dell will go up after the
earnings announcement. I just don't know if it will
be a day, week, month, or several quarters out<gg>.

My prediction is 5.55B and .17/share. If they hit this
target, I think the stock will go nowhere (unfortunately).
5.6 - 5.7B and .18/share is needed to push us up to old
highs and beyond. Meeting the consensus of .16 with a
5.4B revenue will send us back into the thirties.

But this is just my opinion on how the stock will behave...
which is usually wrong.

As for the buyback, I don't think it's completed yet. I
would assume that Dell will always use excess capital to
buyback shares. Nothing I've seen suggests that they'll
stop.
