CW informed me that the bush did it. Who would have guessed the photinia by the garage to have such an unexpectedly violent and vicious streak? LIke the family dog that suddenly bites the nose off a toddler. I suppose we should have it put down. Or maybe a fence around it would suffice- do they make bush muzzles? (If anyone dares to say "chastity belts", I am excommunicating them)

Most people aren't rewarded in "those ways." Only a few are elite, you know? But I don't think you need gold statuettes and blue ribbons to be happy, do you? Otherwise most people throughout history missed out on happiness.

Happiness comes from within. A flower can be the most beautiful thing in the world.

From my perspective, I'd give up every award I ever won just to maintain homeostasis, pain-free. Just not hurting is a miracle. Believe me.
