Dear Michael: In this market I have no thoughts as to the split and its immediate effect although long term I expect it to be good for us as it makes the stock more easily acquired by smaller investors. I have never sold covered calls on EMC as it has been so volatile that I have been afraid of losing the stock. I would really be cautious at these low levels as to covered calls but then I am always cautious. haha. JDN
